I'm a big fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Vancouver Canucks, Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins. Don't attempt to disrupt me during the sporting calendar but as long as I'm interested in other activities I'll give it a shot. I also work as a corporate travel consultant who enjoys anything and everything the world has to offer.

been a long time since i logged in here. sad to see the canucks lose but at the end of the day its the journey that matters and the things and perspective that you learn a long which matters not the destination. also, remember that the glass is always half full not half empty. keep fighting canucks.

For the Vancouver Canucks.

“We’ve been beaten. We’re battered. This year hasn’t been easy, despite what the standings might say but that doesn’t mean anything. We aren’t about to give up. We won’t quit. We won’t stop believing. It doesn’t matter what anyone says because we know we can do this. We are all Canucks.”

Here’s for inspiration:

For the Canucks and their quest for the Stanley Cup. Herb Brooks’ speech to the 1980 U.S. Men’s Olympic Ice Hockey Squad before the game against the Soviets:

Great moments are born from great opportunity. And that’s what you have here tonight, boys. That’s what you’ve earned here, tonight.

One game.

If we played ‘em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we skate with ‘em. Tonight, we stay with ‘em, and we shut them down because we can! Tonight, we are the greatest hockey team in the world. You were born to be hockey players — every one of ya.

And you were meant to be here tonight.

This is your time.

Their time — is done. It’s over.

I’m sick and tired of hearin’ about what a great hockey team the Soviets have.

Screw ‘em!

This is your time!!

Now go out there and take it!
